As a doctor, you may be asked to assist your fellow Occupant with Afflictions they may be suffering from. In order to complete treating afflictions, you will need to have the “Intake Analysis” License equipped to your Grid during an Assembly at the time of your scan. If you do not have the License equipped, you will not be able to complete this process.
There are several steps to treating them and they are:
Ask the patient to show you their Occupant ID (their ID Code at the bottom of Essex). Scan this code with your phone.

Here, you will choose to either view their Occupant Profile, or directly Perform the Intake Analysis. If you choose to view their Occupant Profile, you will see something similar to the following:

Note the “Intake Analysis” button. Press this to continue.
If you chose to ‘Perform Intake Analysis’ from the beginning, the two paths merge here. You will be presented with a scanner screen:

Once the scan has completed, you will have performed the Intake Analysis portion.
On the resulting screen, you will see all of the patient’s Afflictions and their relative severities. Given that you can only treat one Affliction at a time, and only (effectively) treat each Affliction once per Assembly, you will need to determine how best to spend your and the patient’s time. The chart looks similar to this:

The top describes the rules related to Afflictions, followed by a list of each Affliction (separated by the categories of Mental and Physical). The description of the Affliction provides you, the doctor, with information on what it is (theoretically, you discovered this via scanning and doing your intake analysis RP). This will guide you on how you should role play treating the Affliction.
Press the “Treat Affliction” button to continue.
Once you have selected to treat the affliction, you will see the following:

The out-of-game text here provides some rules clarifications, but to restate: Do the necessary role play and try to tailor the experience to the affliction(s) the patient is suffering from. If you are providing physiotherapy for their broken leg while they have a sprained arm, don’t have them do pull ups to strengthen their arms.
Once you have completed the required roleplay, please press the “Complete Treatment” button.
When you (or the patient) views their chart again, you will see the following:

And you’re done! You may now start the process over again to treat another Affliction, or call it a day.
