Renting Smallholder Plots

If you want to grow plants in Ag-Sec for the purpose of research, commerce, or otherwise, you will need to rent a plot to do your planting. You will also need the Smallholder License. The cost of renting a plot can be found in the description of the License.

Plots come in 3 ‘durations’:

  • Short-term - persist for the remainder of the current Assembly.
  • Medium-term - persist for the remainder of the current Assembly and the entirety of the next one (that you attend)
  • Long-term - persist for the remainder of the current Assembly + 3 additional Assemblies (that you attend)

Because the price of plots goes up the more you rent simultaneously, the longer-term plots allow you to purchase more of them for more efficient pricing.

To rent one, you must proceed to Ag-Sec and speak with the Head of the Department, Dr. Tildano, or one of her subordinates. They will assist you by taking some basic information and the chip cost. Then you will be free to use them!
